Nailah Mahmood is a Clinical Psychologist who works with individuals of all ages to address psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. She employs various psychotherapy techniques, including cognitive, interpersonal, behavioural, and psychodynamic therapies, to foster healthy self-growth and coping skills. She is also trained in conducting cognitive, personality, and behavioural assessments.
Nailah earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the United Arab Emirates University (UAE) and received formal training at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Mental Health at Lancaster University (UK). She is a certified CBT practitioner through the Association for Psychological Therapies (UK). Additionally, she is trained in Enhanced CBT (CBT-E) for eating disorders by the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO), University of Oxford. She has also received training in couple therapy from The Gottman Institute (US).
