Dr Laila Mahmoud is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 19 years of clinical practice in the UAE and Kuwait. She specializes in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across all age groups.
She earned her Master’s in Psychiatry from Ain Shams University in Egypt and has worked extensively in both public and private healthcare sectors. Her career highlights include four years with the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and more than six years at Medcare Hospital, where she delivered specialized psychiatric services within multidisciplinary teams. She continues to be an active member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA).
Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr Laila offers patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys gym workouts, aerobics, meditation, walking, and reading.
