Ms Huda Al Bukhari is a Clinical Psychologist registered with both the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH). With eight years of experience in the mental health field, including four years in dedicated clinical practice, she brings expertise, compassion, and a deep commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and their families.

Huda works with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and other emotional or behavioural challenges. She uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, and conducts comprehensive psychological assessments for school-aged children to identify learning disorders and ADHD.

Her early career in Sydney, Australia, included work across inpatient units, community mental health services, and private practice, where she supported individuals with a wide range of needs—from children navigating developmental challenges to adults managing complex mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

As a bilingual therapist, Huda values culturally sensitive care and works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for every client. She is passionate about helping young people develop resilience, confidence, and the tools they need to thrive—both emotionally and socially.

Having recently moved to the UAE, Huda enjoys exploring her new city and aims to visit every emirate before the New Year. She’s especially looking forward to hiking and outdoor adventures in the northern emirates once the weather cools.
